  Néstor Marconi's biography

This will be an opportunity to witness bandoneonist Néstor Marconi’s versatility as a musician. Accompanied by Pablo Agri (violin), Juan Pablo Navarro (double bass), Esteban Falabella (guitar) and Leonardo Marconi (piano), he will deliver self-arranged traditional tangos and works of his own, while interspersing different formats, from the intimacy of his bandoneon solos all the way to the perfect harmony of the quintet. During the concert, he will also play in duos, trios and quartets.
Marconi took his first musical steps in the sixties and has ever since trodden different stylistic paths. His long-standing career speaks for itself: he shared the stage with Horacio Salgán, Héctor Stamponi and Enrique Mario Francini, took part in the film Sur alongside Roberto Goyeneche, toured the world several times, performed as a soloist in the classical music scene and, at present, runs the Orquesta del Tango de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires and the Orquesta Escuela de Tango Emilio Balcarce.
