Clínicas de estilo orquestal: El estilo Pugliese
ClinicsTienda HarrodsThe festival offers four clinics for the technical analysis of compositions for typical orchestras.
Form Monday 17 to Wednesday 19, always at 11am, the sessions will delve into the key features of the orchestras of Aníbal Troilo, Carlos Di Sarli and Osvaldo Pugliese, respectively; and the closing session, on Thursday 20, will focus on the analysis of the work of contemporary composers for different tango ensembles. The clinics will be held by Julián Peralta, and a group of students of the Escuela Orlando Goñi will play some exemplifying pieces.

FilmsTienda Harrods3 Minutos interweaves the experiences of four women of Buenos Aires who do not know each other and lead very different lives from one another. During the unfolding of their day they confront problems and disappointments of a very personal nature. But for each one the moment arrives when they must put the day aside and escape into another world, to put on their tango shoes and go to the milonga to dance, to fulfil a desire, a need, even if it’s only for the few minutes that a tango lasts.

The creator of the multi-prize-winning musical Tanguera reveals her secrets for the stage. Trained as a ballet dancer at the Instituto Superior de Arte of the Teatro Colón, she continued her education in Russia. Back in Buenos Aires, Mora Godoy took part in the Modern Jazz Ballet and the company Tango x 2. In 2001, she premiered the musical Tanguera, which has been touring the world non-stop ever since. She has also directed the shows Tango fatal, Los Creadores, Tango Emoción and Tangorama. She was in charge of the choreographies of dancer Maximiliano Guerra for the shows Tangos Mirando al Sur (2001) and Tango Vertiginoso (2004). She has been directing her own tango school for ten years.
