Claudio González y Melina Brufman

Claudio González & Melina Brufman stand out for their performances on the most prestigious stages worldwide. Their work on the great musicals such as Tanguera or Forever Tango enabled them to venture into very distinct styles. Their versatility is reflected in the choreographies they created for their shows, including Tango Elemento, Episodios Cifrados en Tango and Eternamente Tango, among many others. They are regular members of the company O Tango, with which they have toured Europe. As teachers, they took part in several international festivals, including the Tango Dance World Cup, in which they were also judges.

Notas de Tango

This mixture of documentary and fiction tells the story of a filmmaker who intends to make a film on tango and with this in mind sets about looking for an actor to play the leading role, while working in its preproduction and carrying out a research work including interviews with musicians, dancers and film critics.

The great annual challenge: the best dancers contest in Buenos Aires for the world title in the categories of Salon Tango and Stage Tango. Hundreds of couples, from Argentina and abroad, will be judged by a panel of remarkable artists. The two exciting finals will be held at the mythical Luna Park stadium.

Everything a tango dancer may wish for, Carlos Copello
accomplished it. He toured the world alongside the companies Tango Argentino, Esquina Carlos Gardel, Tango Pasión and Forever Tango; performed with Mariano Mores’s orchestra, the Sexteto Mayor and the Sexteto Tango; shot films under the direction of Robert Duvall, Wong Kar-Wai and Sally Potter; and shared the dance floor with Carmencita Calderón and Valeria Mazza. A disciple of Todaro, today Carlos Copello passes on his instructor’s
dance secrets. Todaro was a model of tango dance classicism, taking traditional tango to the limit of its technical possibilities without losing its very essence. He trained almost all currently established dancers.
