HIROSHI Y KYOKO, WINNERS OF THE “SALON TANGO” CATEGORY

The Japanese couple, husband and wife, Yamao and Kyoko Yamao, wan the “Salon Tango” category of the Tango World Championship last night at the fantastic Saturday lived at the Buenos Aires Luna Park Stadium. The second and third positions went to Colombian Edwin León and Jennifer Arango Agudelo, and Argentine Jorge Mariño and Sara Parnigoni, respectively.

Almost six thousand people applauded this dance exhibition at the mythical stadium located at Corrientes and Bouchard, and rewarded the skill and sentiment of the Japanese, the winners of the competition for their remarkable performance on Friday semi-finals. At the semi-finals, they got an average 8.65 score, the highest assigned by the panel of judges.
